   Great experience for the red-green colorblind

   Gave these to my 65 yr old FIL for his bday. Ive never seen the man show emotions, of any kind, but it was all over his face the moment he saw red for the first time. And flowers. And the neon orange sticker on a piece of paper. "WOW! Would you look at that!" he said.    Gift for fiance

   My son loved these. He is 18, and is red/green colorblind. He had never known what bright blue, bright green, gold, or dark red looked like. He kept lowering them to look at things he was familiar with, then putting them back on to look again. He just wandered around in amazement. He said the dog even looked different.    My son loved these. He is 18, and is red/green colorblind. He had never known what bright blue, bright green, gold, or dark red looked like.    The photo is a snapshot from the video we took, where he looked up at the sky for the first time. He said "Wooow," with a huge grin. I asked what does it look like? And he said real quietly "Pretty." He was amazed at how green the field behind our house was, and it wasn't even very green because it is December. He looked over and over at his shirt, because he said it looked so bright and that it had looked green without the glasses. We went to the movie two nights later (The Greatest Showman), and he said it was incredible.
   I know they don't work for 100% of people, but I would definitely recommend that for this price you give it a try!

   Works well!

   The glasses were very good quality! Came in a nice case and was delivered early. The person I got them as a gift wears them all the time because they look like normal sunglasses!

   They worked

   For me, they enhance all colours, particularly red but also yellows and others are much clearer, and text on signs and advertising billboards is much easier to read. I had no idea just how bright "red" can be. I had my wife wear them, and she also said that everything is much more vibrant through these glasses, so I'm not sure that they have "corrected" my colour vision deficiency (that is, I sti...More

   For me, they enhance all colours, particularly red but also yellows and others are much clearer, and text on signs and advertising billboards is much easier to read. I had no idea just how bright "red" can be. I had my wife wear them, and she also said that everything is much more vibrant through these glasses, so I'm not sure that they have "corrected" my colour vision deficiency (that is, I still don't see the world as normal colour vision people see it) however I am happy with the results.
   Note: I still can't pass the Ishihara test

   Can See Colors for the First Time

   I bought these for my husband and they worked exactly as I had hoped.He was pretty impressed at the differences in color and vibrancy.We built a cedar privacy fence this summer, it's absolutely beautiful. He can really see the difference in the color of the fence and he could see the beauty that I could see in it. He was in awe.    Bought these for my very active 88 yr old, severely color blind dad. He could see that the brown and green grass (its winter) was actually 2 colors, not one! He lives on a marina and said Hey! That hull is red! I always thought it was sort of a dark brick color! He says driving (yes, I know, 88...) is easier because theres more definition of color. My son (24) is also color blind, and his reaction was that everything seemed just brighter, but he could see reds better.

   I bought these for my color-blind boyfriend. He's hardly taken them off since he got them. I wish that we'd thought of this years ago, as his first comment was, "Did you know that street signs in Tucson are green?" He had no idea. He can also see how pretty his restored '78 bright yellow truck is, and can tell a male cardinal by color rather than looking for the tuft on its head. Up until now...More

   I bought these for my color-blind boyfriend. He's hardly taken them off since he got them. I wish that we'd thought of this years ago, as his first comment was, "Did you know that street signs in Tucson are green?" He had no idea. He can also see how pretty his restored '78 bright yellow truck is, and can tell a male cardinal by color rather than looking for the tuft on its head. Up until now, he said that all birds were shades of brown. This has made a huge difference to him; a week after getting them, he is still pointing out brightly-colored signs to me as we drive around. He's truly never seen the world like this before.
